Perhaps Steven J. Nash Publishing will not be
offended by my inclusion of this poem from James Kavanaugh's
wonderful collection of poetry, Laughing
Down Lonely Canyons. Being on my own again
caused me to ponder just who the hell I was. Henry
makes me feel good about myself. What do you think? If you like
this one, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of the whole
collection. I learned a lot of new ways to look at life from this
man. I, too, am a man "too gentle to live among wolves."
Do yourself a kindness and explore this man's work. Trust me.

A day in the life of a single
parent. With permission, I've included a
message I received from one of the mail loops I get. Terri is a
single mom, and from the sounds of it, a damn good one. Who hasn't
had a day like this? I like the fact that
she kept her sense of humor while telling her story (one of the
few 'magical' tools we have left when we are hurting). She
