Lighthouse Links to Legal Help
My original plan for the Lighthouse was
to try to lend some aid and comfort to the custodial single
father. In the past I've received many emails from
folks that had a helluva time getting visitation and/or
custody. My heart goes out to non-custodial parents. I can only
imagine how horrible it must be to have the munchkins living
somewhere else. Here are some links I've found that may be useful.

Fathers are
Capable Too [F.A.C.T] From their site: Fathers Are Capable Too is one of the largest non-custodial parents' and children's rights organizations in Canada dealing with custody and access. F.A.C.T. is an organization of both men and women working to support our children's right to have a relationship with both parents. We are a not-for-profit non-custodial parents' and fathers' support and advocacy group.

I am grateful that this has never been an issue for my
family, but I know that child abuse is devistating to everyone
involved. Child abuse (in any form) is terrible, as we
all agree. False
accusation of child abuse is pure evil in itself. I don't
know anything about Dean Tong, but this might be a good
source of information for anyone trying to defend
themselves against a horrible lie. As always, please

Colorado Divorce Mediation Colorado Divorce - Mediation, Family and Divorce Law Information. Bravo! Mediation is a FANTASTIC alternative to the old-fashioned divorce procedures. While these folks' services are likely only to be of value in the state of Colorado, the website has information that should be serious food for thought for anyone considering divorce. - Military Divorce Guide As a service to our military folks, here's a link to some interesting articles about divorce related legal issues. This firm is in Colorado, but there is a lot of good general information here.
