In the Beginning. . . .
Yeah, it's a quicky. Yes, it's probably considered sexist in some circles. Is it funny? Decide for yourself. Do I think it's funny? Hang on, I think I hear my son calling me. . . .
One day in the Garden of Eden God calls out to Adam: "Adam, what's wrong?"
Adam: "I am very lonely!"
God: "I am making plans to correct that, I am going to make a woman for you."
Adam: "What is a women?'
God: "She will be a being like you but pleasantly different. She will be intelligent, sensitive, caring, and very beautiful. She will be so intelligent that she can figure out what you want before you want it. She will keep track of everything you have and will be able to tell you where it is. She will be sensitive and caring, ready to serve your every need. Her beauty will rival the very heavens above. She will be a perfect companion for you, fulfilling your every need."
Adam: "That sounds wonderful, when will I get her?"
God: "She is yours as soon as you give me: your right arm, your right leg, an eye, and ear, and your left testicle."
Adam: [Adam is lost in thought]
God: "What do you say?"
Adam: "What can I get for one rib?"
